Ultraviolette F77 Owner Hits 1,00,000 km, Records ₹4 Lakh+ Fuel Savings

by admin

In a landmark moment for India’s electric two-wheeler industry, Ultraviolette has announced that F77 owner Harish Surampade has completed over 1,00,000 km on his motorcycle in just 17 months.

Even more impressively, the motorcycle’s battery retains 96% of its health, reinforcing the brand’s engineering claims of long-term durability and real-world reliability.

This milestone arrives as Ultraviolette continues expanding both in India and global markets, showcasing the F77’s capability for long-distance touring—an area traditionally dominated by petrol motorcycles.

1,00,000 km Across Borders, Extreme Climates, and Tough Terrain

Harish’s journey took him through nine international borders, across high-altitude mountain passes, coastal routes, thick forest stretches and national highways.

The F77 was tested in some of the world’s harshest riding conditions, with temperatures ranging from –15°C to 48°C, a staggering 63°C variance.

One of the most demanding segments saw Harish cover 613 km within 24 hours, highlighting the motorcycle’s long-haul capability and powertrain efficiency.

Major Fuel Savings Over 17 Months

Ultraviolette estimates that the F77 saved Harish approximately ₹4,59,009 in fuel expenses during the 17-month ownership period — a strong economic case in addition to environmental benefits.

A Strong Endorsement of Ultraviolette’s Battery Engineering

One of the most significant takeaways from this achievement is the 96% battery health recorded after the 1,00,000+ km journey. Ultraviolette credits this to its battery system, which integrates:

  • High energy density

  • Precision thermal control

  • Robust energy management

  • Long-term durability architecture

According to Niraj Rajmohan, Co-founder & CTO, the result is “the ultimate validation of world-class battery engineering,” proving the F77 can deliver performance and consistency over extended, real-world use.

“Electric Touring Is No Longer an Experiment” — CEO

Speaking on the achievement, Narayan Subramaniam, Co-founder & CEO, said:
“Harish’s ride is a defining moment for electric touring. Completing 1,00,000 km across cities, borders and extreme terrains proves that long-distance electric travel is now a reality. Riders can tour farther, faster, and more confidently on electric than ever before.”
