Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer Simple Energy has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Gen 2 variants of the Simple One and Simple OneS, alongside the debut of Simple Ultra, claimed to be India’s longest-range electric scooter with an IDC-certified range of 400 km.
With this launch, Simple Energy now offers four distinct scooter models, targeting riders seeking extended range, higher performance, and reduced range anxiety across daily and long-distance use cases.
Simple Ultra: India’s Longest-Range Electric Scooter
The newly introduced Simple Ultra sets a new benchmark in the Indian EV two-wheeler segment.
Powered by a 6.5 kWh battery, the largest fitted to an electric scooter in India so far, the Simple Ultra delivers an IDC-certified range of 400 km.
Performance figures include:
-
Top speed: 115 kmph
-
Acceleration: 0–40 kmph in 2.77 seconds
Simple Energy claims the Ultra is India’s second-fastest electric scooter, behind the Simple OneS. The model will be available for pre-booking at Simple Energy showrooms.
